The unit handles legal assessments of cases concerning permits under the Continental Shelf Act and the Minerals Act.
Your Workday. Sweden's Tomorrow.
The unit is now seeking employees responsible for issues concerning the conditions and competitiveness of the basic industry, with a particular focus on the mining, metal, and mineral industries. The role also includes participating in the unit's other work on land and water use and the implementation of the EU regulation on critical raw materials.
Your main area of work will be to plan, organize, prepare, and present cases. You will also assist with analyses and prepare materials for meetings in the EU and other international forums. The role includes contributing to preparations in other departments' policy areas, engaging in dialogue with public actors, industry, and academia. The position may involve travel, primarily to Brussels, as well as international contacts and negotiations.
Quick decision-making and working at a fast pace are often required. You should therefore be prepared to work under conditions where you must be ready for the unexpected. The work is characterized by close dialogue and collaboration with colleagues in the unit and in other units within the Government Offices, the department's management, and with the authorities of the Ministry of Climate and Enterprise.
